Philosophy:  I believe we were meant to live fulfilling lives. I am passionate to help clients not simply to survive but to thrive in our busy and hectic world. Slowing down and taking time to heal includes working together to develop mindfulness, self-reflection, and healthy routines. There is much to discover when we commit to addressing our pain.

 

Style: I approach counseling as a partnership where clients can experience self-discovery within a safe and supportive environment. We work together to build the best version of you.

 

Specialties: I utilize mindfulness and cognitive approaches to assist you in your journey. I work with children as young as 6 and their families, pre-teens, teens, college students, and parents.

Experience: I have interned at schools in Newtown including Hawley Elementary and Newtown High School. In addition to serving the Newtown/Sandy Hook community and beyond, I am also a counselor at Green Chimneys, a nonprofit organization helping young people to maximize their full potential by providing residential, educational, clinical, and recreational services, in a safe and supportive environment that nurtures connections with their families, the community, animals and nature.
